The Resideo VCZZ7100 is a 3-way mixing valve cartridge for VC-Series hydronic zone valves, providing linear flow control with 0.4" stem travel for accurate proportional mixing in boiler, hydronic heating, and radiant applications. It is rated for 300 PSIG and a temperature range of 34°F to 203°F, with a stainless steel stem and EPDM, Ryton, and Noryl plastic construction. The cartridge measures 1.5" in diameter by 3.125" high, is compatible with water and glycol solutions up to 60% concentration, and carries CSA certification for residential and commercial systems. This cartridge is an OEM replacement designed to restore Resideo VC-Series 3-way mixing valves to original factory performance, correcting issues such as poor mixing, uneven zone heating, leaking, or a stuck valve body. It fits all VC actuator assemblies and is intended for use with a cartridge wrench during installation. Teflon tape and pipe dope are recommended for sealing connections.
