At Global Part Supply, we ship from a nationwide network of trusted manufacturers and distributors so your parts get to you as quickly as possible. Here’s what to expect.
Where We Ship
We ship to all 50 states and U.S. territories (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico). Some remote destinations and territories may carry additional carrier surcharges or freight charges, which are always shown at checkout before you pay.
We do not currently ship internationally. If you have an international or special freight request, contact us at quotes@globalpartsupply.com and we’ll do our best to help.
Order Processing Time
Most in-stock orders ship the same or next business day. Orders placed after our daily cutoff, or on weekends and holidays, begin processing the next business day.
Some special-order, made-to-order, or non-stock items require additional lead time from the manufacturer. If an item in your order will take longer to ship, we’ll let you know.
Transit Time
Transit time is separate from processing time. Processing is how long it takes us to get your order onto a truck; transit is how long the carrier takes after that. Business days exclude weekends and holidays, and transit time does not start until the order ships.
- USPS Ground Advantage — typically 2–5 business days, for parcels up to 10 lb.
- UPS Ground — typically 1–5 business days, depending on how far you are from the distributor shipping your part.
- UPS 2nd Day Air — 2 business days.
- UPS Next Day Air — 1 business day.
- LTL freight (oversized items) — typically longer than parcel and usually scheduled by appointment; the carrier will contact you.
The services available to your address, and their costs, are shown at checkout before you pay. Carrier transit times are estimates published by the carrier, not guarantees — see Carriers & Delays below.
Shipping Rates
Shipping is calculated at checkout from your item’s weight and dimensions and your delivery address. UPS services (Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air) and LTL freight for oversized items are quoted live from the carrier. USPS Ground Advantage is offered at a flat rate by package weight for parcels up to 10 lb, which is usually the least expensive option for smaller parts. You’ll see every service available to your address, and its exact cost, before you place your order — we do not add a handling fee.
Multiple Shipments
Because your order may include items stocked by different distributors, parts from a single order can ship separately from different locations and arrive on different days, sometimes with their own tracking numbers. You’re only charged the shipping quoted at checkout — split shipments don’t cost you extra.
Freight & Oversized Items
Large or heavy items (for example, certain units, coils, and bulk orders) ship by LTL freight rather than parcel. Freight deliveries may require an appointment and are typically curbside; please be available to receive and inspect the shipment. Inspect freight carefully before signing — see Delivery & Inspection below.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, we’ll email you tracking information. If your order ships in multiple parts, you may receive more than one tracking number.
Delivery & Inspection
Please inspect your delivery as soon as it arrives. If you see visible shipping damage, report it within 48 hours of delivery (and note any damage on the freight carrier’s delivery receipt before signing). Photos of the item and packaging help us resolve carrier claims quickly. See our Return Policy for how damaged or defective items are handled.
Shipping Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We’re not able to reroute a package once it’s in transit, and reshipment costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address are the customer’s responsibility.
Carriers & Delays
We ship parcel orders via UPS and oversized items by LTL freight, selecting the best method for each item. On rare occasions a distributor may ship a part with a comparable carrier at no extra cost to you. Once a package is with the carrier, delivery timing is in their hands — we can’t be responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, high-volume periods, or other events outside our control. We’ll always help you track down a delayed shipment.
