Honeywell Q5020A1003 DCA Linkage 25-300# SR/NSR

The Q5020A1003 is a direct coupled actuator (DCA) linkage for 2- and 3-way globe valves, used in boiler, chiller, and hydronic system applications. It mounts directly to the valve stem via a self-lubricating rack-and-pinion assembly with a 1/2 inch shaft diameter, housed in die-cast aluminum with a zinc chromate-plated steel mounting bracket for corrosion resistance. It accommodates spring return actuators rated 25, 50, and 142 lb-in, as well as non-spring return actuators rated 35, 70, 150, and 300 lb-in. Operating range is -40°F to 140°F ambient and 32°F to 337°F medium, with an adjustable manual override for field service. This linkage is an OEM replacement designed for direct mount installation and is also compatible with Siemens, Johnson Controls, Johnson, and Siebe valve actuator systems. For non-Honeywell valve bodies, the 32004629 Bonnet Adapter Kit is recommended to ensure proper fit. Common failure symptoms addressed by replacement include valve not responding to actuator, linkage binding, difficult manual override operation, and misaligned valve position indicators. Installation is rated intermediate difficulty, requiring only basic hand tools.
